Who we are as individuals, entrepreneurs, parents, teachers, leaders, children and part of groups and families we are all the same…HUMAN!

.

What moves us to show up, step up and express is our uniqueness, who we are and what are natural genius is. Inspiration can come to us when we least expect it, and what we do with that inspiration shows and tells our individual stories and how we play in this world. I was born a leader, supporter and always wanted to have fun and wanted those around me to do the same...This has not changed.

I have taken risks and failed and have taken risks and have learned. My failures and successes are just a way to step up to what I know and follow my true purpose, passion, spirit and genius. With uncertainty we can choose to stay in fear or rise and be part of the solution. This is the time to lead with conviction, compassion, and empower others as you empower yourself…it’s a WIN-WIN.

Today I watched the webinar with Roger James Hamilton, Bobbi DePorter and Dimitry all who are true leaders and visionaries. I would like to self-express my story about SuperCamp.

.

When my daughter was 13 & 14, she needed help with her learning disability and I searched for resources and landed on Quantum Learning and SuperCamp. Without any hesitation I signed her up for a 10-day summer SuperCamp in Southern California College Campus. She was not thrilled and was quite angry when I dropped her off.

.

When I picked her up 10 days later, she was so happy and talked non stop for hours about all that she learned and people she met. Her self-esteem and enthusiasm was off the charts. With all her excitement, I was proactive and signed her up that same week for the next summer at SuperCamp and I signed myself up for the 3 day Parent Camp at Stanford they were offering at the time. I wanted to learn what she was, so we could be on the same page and I could help her grow and learn how to learn.

It is a peculiar thing…my daughter has opened the doors to many of my learnings. In search of tools to help her, I also help myself…that is how I stepped into mentorship with Roger James Hamilton…that is another story 😊

The next summer came around and she went again to Supercamp and was in the Leadership program. At graduation she spoke from stage about her experience and I was so proud of her and cried my eyes out 😊 She landed on one of Super Camps marketing videos. I served 40 kids that could not afford camp and gave scholarships. Inspiration can lead us to great things, projects, giving back and being purposeful in all that we do…it’s who we are (our genius) and following love, passion, and connecting is what I love to teach. We all have passion and purpose to uplift ourselves and others…let’s flow during this time, raise the tide and cause a wonderful ripple effect.

Last summer I connected with Bobbi and she invited me to a Stanford Supercamp graduation. What a treat to be with her and parents who had just sent their kids to camp with the same anticipation I had when I sent my daughter for the first time. I spent time that day with the kids to hear about what they learned and again I was so emotional and grateful for Bobbi and Supercamp because they played a positive role in my daughter’s life and our entire family. Bobbi is an amazing ambassador for building a safe environment for children to blossom. THANK YOU BOBBI!
