This is the Message that I created for the students who are graduating this month from the college where I teach in Japan, the International College of Liberal Arts (iCLA). I painted the character meaning to Fly, to Soar like a Bird, and explain in the video how students can do this as they make the transition into life after graduation. As I recorded it, I realized that this message was also for a broader audience, as we all graduate into the next phase of our lives.
