Widge Woolsey, Founder of Ufulu Malawi
Our Guest speaker this month is WIDGE WOOLSEY who is the Founder of UFULU a UK based charity which is working to end Period Poverty for women and young girls in Malawi through education and practical support.
UFULU means freedom in Chichewa, the language of Malawi and Widge is super passionate about bring freedom to women in Malawi and preserving the environment.
Widge will be sharing her intrepid story of why she travelled to Malawi, left her job to set up a charity and how she has raised money and awareness through Crowd funding and other activities.
Widge is an existing member of B1G1 and her purpose is linked to UN Goal no. 4 Quality Education and UN Goal no. 15 Life on Land.
