Microsoft Windows came to rule the world's personal computer-Operating System market with over 90% market share. A Windows server generally offers more range and more support than Linux servers. Lets us understand the pros and cons of Windows as an operating system.

Evolving updates: New versions of Windows fixes bugs from the previous version and also adds newer apps as the version updates.

Ease to use: if a user has used a previous version of Windows, the new one is going to be a cake walk with few clicks here and there.

Software availability: It’s very rare to figure out a new software which doesn't have a windows compatibility. Most of the softwares come are compatible to Windows OS.

Plug & Play installation: As an operating system for a home user, Windows has an edge over the competition in the area of Plug & Play support for PC hardware.
