From an Amazon Review:

I  have been a mental health counselor for nearly 20 years, and I have  felt honored to witness my clients' journeys as they wrestle with the  conundrums of gender issues. I found the “Little Book” to be both a deep  and an enlightening read.  I have recommended it to a number of  clients, regardless of their gender. Don't be fooled by it's thin  profile. Mark Greene has clearly invested time reflecting on his journey  as a man as well as observing the bigger picture of culture around him.  He integrates it appropriately with psychological concepts.  His  personal anecdotes make it more accessible. I do have a sense that  readers need to be at a certain level of awareness to be able to manage  the  information in a meaningful way.  It takes a certain amount of  emotional intelligence to be able to sit with what is likely to be  uncomfortable material for many. Without a certain level of E.Q., it  will be easy to dismiss the book as a black and white analysis, which is  far from true.  But those of you who are willing to reflect more deeply  around gender norms--which might not be working for most humans--will  find this book amazing for both its brevity and its depth.
