💜We know how hard it can be to manage groups of kids while giving them equal attention, positive feedback and keeping them on task, happy and most of all feeling successful in their efforts!
💜 TODAY's TIP is "Back to the wall"
By standing on the outside of your group you have full vision of all your kids. Never stand in the middle of your group and always be able to see all your children at the same time.
💜 This means that when you're setting up your circuit, make sure you are nearest the most difficult station. Also make sure you create your circuit in such a way, that if you need to step in to assist a child, you can do it while still being able to watch all your other kids!
💜 This way you'll be able to prevent possible off task behaviour or identify a safety issue before an accident happens.
💜Most importantly of all, you'll SEE what happens if anything does go wrong and quickly be able to communicate truthfully, assertively and confidently to any concerned parents or supervisors- leaving nothing up to speculation!
