If you’re building your brand on LinkedIn, you should be keeping on top of certain metrics. Here are some tips on how to track the progress of your brand using metrics.

- Profile views: More engagement equals more views. Keep your eye on this.

- Searches: How often do you appear in LinkedIn searches? This correlates to how many keywords feature on your profile.

- Post-viewing: After posting content, check exactly how many people have viewed your post. This indicates your reach.

- Engagement with posts: How many people like or comment on your posts? This also indicates your reach.

- Connections: Be active in your field on and offline and your connections will grow. Make sure you keep tabs on those offline connections by connecting with them on LinkedIn.

- Followers: If your content is good, then you’ll get people following you because they like your work. Keep tabs on this to judge the effectiveness of your content.

- Endorsements: Make sure you get endorsed for skills that are important to you because this is visible on your profile.
