In today’s world, it’s becoming far too common for people to attempt to conduct their entire sales process online.
Sure, this method is cost saving, but is it really more effective? It’s absolutely fine to build up the sale on online using platforms like LinkedIn, or on the phone. But for me, closing the deal is always better when it’s done in person.
Closing in person has so many advantages that you’ll miss if you’re not actually with the person. Advantages range from trust building to showing that extra effort with the client. All of these things help you go the extra mile when closing.
If the pay-out is minimal, then yes it’s okay to do it all online. But consider this: do you actually want to be chasing minimal wins?
