Jacqueline Pigdon is a former Australian national rowing champion, who struggled to grow her brand as a lifestyle and business coach.
Her mentor, Roger Hamilton, a social entrepreneur and futurist, encouraged her to identify who she really was and what she stood for, and allow that to guide her business decisions. This was Jacqueline’s lightbulb moment.
‘I used to trial out for the Sydney Olympics, so I realised I wanted that type of client: the business owner, who’s in their 40s, who has a team between 4 and 40 employees, who had been an athlete themselves. We shared the same language and wanted to make a bigger difference in the world and be peaceful about it, and not just hitting goals, goals, goals.’
Such level of clarity enabled Jacqueline to change her branding and attract her dream clients.
In just 2 years she doubled her revenue and went from trading time for money to having equity in her clients’ businesses.
