Scientists have found signs of Alzheimer’s disease in dolphins, in a ground-breaking discovery that marks the first decisive evidence of the condition in wild animals. The dolphins were found dead off the coast of Spain and, after examination, scientists concluded that they shared the same twisted strands and protein clusters in their brains as human patients with dementia.
