Research confirms that green space decreases stress, decreases air pollution and more http://magazine.nursing.jhu.edu/2017/09/health-equity-power-green-space/

Health Equity: The Power of Green Space - Johns Hopkins Nursing Magazine

Take a deep breath in, now let it out. Over 2 million children in the United States have uncontrolled asthma, so for them, the simple act of breathing in and breathing out is complicated. Children with uncontrolled asthma have frequent attacks, which entails coughing fits and struggling to breathe at least two days a week.

I just noticed the icon for this circle looks like a cannabis leaf - is it? If so, why? Cannabis isn't addictive ;)

I'm not commenting from a personal view, I'm commenting from my Trader "keep everyone happy" flow, and to me having a cannabis leaf as your emblem is stating a strong viewpoint on something where half the world simply doesn't agree with that, including a big potential membership area, and could cause lengthy time wasting discussions on whether cannabis is addictive or not, so thought I'd get that out of the way to start with cos "you're both right", so by having an addiction-neutral emblem instead you're simply removing the chances of that. Whatever your personal thoughts on the situation, the fact is everyone thinks differently about it.

Hi Cindy, thanks for the welcome! I've been a non-smoker for about a month now after smoking for 34 years since I was 11! Tried many ways and am now "cheating" as on Champix so I guess the only thing I'm worried about is when I come off these, but the nurse/stop smoking consultant said not to worry about that yet as still got a month at least left then could get an extension, it's just getting used to being a non-smoker and adjusting my life as I am no longer held captive by the addiction, planning my entire life around it lol!

Thx for sharing Steve - very interested to hear how you get along on Champix, as I have actually been thinking about trying them too.

I have to agree with Tina - why do they do this? I mean, I presume it was a human who made it... I hope so anyway lol ;)

I think if I'd just been taking the Champix I'd have forgotten about Allen's teachings which is more the "Why". I also feel I was a bit harsh on previous comments re replacing with other habits - I worry about people thinking it's a habit when it's not. Sure, you need to fill up your time with better things than smoking but if you directly replace smoking with something else there's a direct relation between the two and there shouldn't be. I can't believe how different life is without it, it's still very weird but I'm keen to keep like this now and create new healthy habits now my addiction is under control!

I´m just worried that Champix is exactly that: replacing it with another drug :-(
