Be content in your own company'. This is life's greatest prize. We owe it to ourselves to discover the magic of contentment, and we can be content everywhere.
'Get excited about what might go right' This is just as valid as being worried about what might go wrong but way more productive, energising, playful and fun!!
'Your reputation is priceless; don't damage it'. We are each responsible for how we show up in the world, to seen, and known by others. Be true to yourself.
'Develop a habit of saving for what you want'. This doesn't just apply to money. Focus on what you want; Be patient. Don't spend everything now; It's a habit.
'Take advice'. It seems so much easier to give advice than to take it. it requires trust, courage and a willingness to consider another's perspective as valid.
'Unleash your creativity' Our self expression is our own responsibility. Waiting for others to 'unleash' it for us or for permission to be unleashed is futile.
'People matter, not things'. Notice when you are treating things as more important than people, when it seems like something matters more than someone matters.
'Finish what you start'. Not easy for a Dynamo who's constantly starting new things!! Tip: Start and finish what you start .. or hand it over to one who will.
'Take responsibility for your mistakes'. We might as well; they're ours! When we can own our 'mis-takes' our 'mis-takes' won't own us. Remember, owners earn!
'Don't wait to be told what to do'. Do what needs to be done, now!
'Have a face-to-face conversation'. We connect when we see eye to eye. We connect on a deeper level by listening visibly and reading our words on another face.
'Where there's a will there's a way' Where there's a won't there's no way!! Look at your 'can't's' today and see are they 'wont's'. Have a can-do-will-do-day.
'Be clear to avoid misunderstandings'. Often what is required after one has made an incorrect assumption and now needs to go and clear it up. We live and learn.
'Don't make assumptions - they're often wrong'. Are you making an assumption about anyone or anything right now? What if you're wrong? Ask, don't assume.
