  I do not know why I thought of the Native American, African and other cultures that acknowledge the spiritual gifts that animals bring to us in the form of "power animals" or "spirit animals". The power of the wolf brings forth instinct, intelligence, appetite for freedom, and awareness of the importance of social connections. This animal can also symbolize fear of being threatened and lack of trust. When the wolf shows up in your life, pay attention to what your intuition is telling you.

  Tears...so moved by each girl/woman's act of courage. And yes as Sister Marie says to take on the "spirit animals". Courage-the listening to our hearts- shows up in many forms. And sometimes it requires us to be as fierce as that wolf! I've been exploring and reclaiming my "BadAss Goddess" mojo in my 2nd half for the research has shown it's not what you did that leads to death bed regrets...it's more what you didn't do! Or said more poetically by Anais Nin: "Life shrinks or expands in proportion to one's courage." Carpe Diem!
